SADAKO, kisah pilu akibat bom.

Diceritakan oleh delapan orang mahasiswa dari hirosima univercity, Jepang. 27 Agustus 2008. saat mereka berkunjung ke Sanggar Anak Tangguh. dipublikasikan The Dailly Jakarta Shimbun.

SADAKO

Sadako Sasaki, adalah seorang anak yang terkena atomik bom. Pada saat usia 2 tahun, tumbuh normal. Tapi saat usia 10 tahun, pada tahun 1955, diketahui bahwa Sadako mengalami penyakit leukemia dan harus dirawat di rumah sakit.

Sadako percaya bahwa jika bisa membuat 1000 burung origami, dia bisa sembuh cepat. Ia terus membuat burung origami (burung doa) di rumah sakit. Tapi Sadako meninggal setelah 8 bulan kemudian.

Ini menunjukkan bagaimana bahaya atomik bom walaupun sudah bertahun-tahun.

Teman sekelas Sadako terkejut mendengar cerita temannya, Sadako dan tentang burung origami. Dan mulai saat itu, mereka mengumpulkan uang dari penduduk Jepang dan membuat monimen “Gadis Cilik Atomik Bom yang Berharap Damai”.

Kampanye ini tersebar ke seluruh sekolah di Jepang dan keseluruh dunia, dan akhirnya di tahun 1958 monumen “Gadis Cilik Atomik Bom” berdiri di Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park,  di bawahnya di tulis

 “Ini tangisan kami,

 Ini doa kami,

 Untuk kedamaian Dunia”

 Di sekeliling monumen di taruh seribu burung origami (burung doa) dari seluruh dunia.

Death of a Girl

Sadako Sasaki who got atomic bobm when she was two years old,looked fine and growed up well, but ten years later in 1955, she was diagnosed as leukemia and she was admitted to the hospital.  

Sadako believed that she certainly would get well if she make 1000 folded paper crane and she was keeping on making folded paper crane in the hospital. But she died after 8 month.

This shows the terrible affect of radiation which disorder come out even many years pass after the atomic bobm.

Sadako’s class mates had been shocked by this fact of Sadako’s death and paper folded crane.

They started a campaign for raising a fund to make a monument of ‘Atomic Bomb Child”. This campaign spresd out to schools in Japan and to the world and finaly in 1958 the monument of the girl who hold up the paper crane to the sky was built in Hiroshima Peace Memorial park.

Under the monument, there is an epitaph carved,

 

“This is our crying,

 This is our prayer,

 Peace in the world”

 

Around the monument is always filled up with a number of paper folded crane from all over the world.
